Welcome to our little slice of Paradise!!!

Welcome to the family Homepage of Don & Judy Casto living in Cudjoe Key, Florida located 23 miles from Key West.  We've created this site to keep our family, friends, and visitors updated on our adventures here in the Florida Keys.  We've included a brief narrative and some photo galleries of our favorite events living, boating and fishing in the Florida Keys. 

Don is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer and who now works for the Federal Aviation Administration in the South Florida Flight Standards District Office located in Miramar, FL.  Judy works in the administrative office at Naval Air Station Key West, FL  We love living in the Florida Keys.  We spend allot of time boating and fishing.  We bought our house on Cudjoe Key in July 2008, it was just one of those deals we couldn't pass up.  So we are officially permanent Keys residents.  We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house on a canal with a 60 ft concrete seawall and davits to lift the boat out of the water.  Our canal has access to Cudjoe Bay and we can navigate to the Ocean or Gulf of Mexico in minutes.  The Tiki bar named Bamboozles by our friends is up and running downstairs for those windy days when we can't go boating.  Our house has a 10ft X 45ft screened patio that overlooks the canal that we enjoy when we're to lazy to walk downstairs.  Life is good here in the keys!!!

We have 3 boys, the oldest John (JR) is a corrections officer at the state prison in Raiford, FL.  He has a fiancé Ashley.  His son Dallas was born last year which made us grandparents for the first time.  I'm not sure I was ready to be called Grandpa, (it makes me feel old), but he's a wonderful baby and it's a joy to see him.  Chris is living in the Keys he spends most of the time with his girlfriend in Key West.  He is a senior at Key West High School this year and is still in the NROTC at school.  He has shown some interest in joining the Air Force after high school.  Adam is living with his mom in Jacksonville, FL.  He is in the 10th grade this year and is in the Army ROTC.  He is into fixing old cars with his neighbor and wants to join the Army after high school.  He still visits quite often to see us, his friends and to go fishing.
